Water Well Development & Maintenance

Andrews & Foster provides a comprehensive range of water well development and water well maintenance services supporting both new and existing systems. Once a water well has been installed, it must undergo routine monitoring and maintenance to ensure the quality of the water remains consistent and the submersible pump systems are functioning properly. A&F’s service team is available to be onsite to diagnose, troubleshoot, and recommend the necessary action to resolve the issue.

Water Well Systems Assessment & Diagnosis

Whether you are the owner of a single water well or you oversee multiple water wells, it is of the utmost importance that you gain a baseline analysis of the health and lifespan of the water wells under your control.

Depending on need, assessment and diagnosis may include:

  • Remove pump and motor systems
  • Diagnose pump and motor systems
  • Recommend replacement components
  • Perform downhole video survey of well(s) to understand initial well construction and recommend, if necessary, any additional development techniques to improve well performance

Preventive Maintenance of Water Well Systems

A&F has developed a customized preventive maintenance inspection program for water well owners. This program is performed by a skilled, qualified service technician, who is trained to make a water well system operate as efficiently and economically as possible.

Preventive Maintenance may include:

  • Chlorinate (disinfect)
  • Bacteriological analysis
  • Chemical Analysis
  • Winterize
  • Monitor pumping and recovery levels
  • Check water pressure
  • Measure motor amperage
  • Check electrical control systems
  • Check and replace water filter
  • Inspection reporting

Water Well Systems Development

A&F’s well systems development services may include:

  • Install pump systems
  • Connect and evaluate of electrical controls with the pump system
  • Evaluate well(s) to ensure they are operating in compliance with federal, state, and local rules and regulations
